TOUCHLESS TOMORROW: THE WILLINGNESS OF RESORT HOTELS IN BULACAN IN ENGAGING WITH CONTACTLESS SERVICES
This study investigates the willingness of resort hotels in Bulacan to adopt contactless services. The research aims to understand the factors influencing their decision-making and identify potential challenges and opportunities associated with this transition. Through a survey of resort hotel managers in Bulacan, the study explores their perceptions of contactless technology, its potential benefits, and their concerns regarding implementation. The findings reveal a growing interest in contactless services among resort hotels, driven by the perceived benefits of improved efficiency, enhanced guest experience, and reduced operational costs. However, challenges such as the initial investment, technological limitations, and potential security risks were identified as barriers to adoption. The study concludes by providing recommendations for policymakers and industry stakeholders to facilitate the wider adoption of contactless services in the resort hotel sector in Bulacan.
This study aimed to assess the willingness of resort hotels in Bulacan, Philippines, to adopt contactless services. Specifically, it investigated the demographic profile of the hotels, their perceptions of the benefits and challenges of contactless services, and the potential implications of their adoption.
The research found that while there is growing interest in contactless services among Bulacan resort hotels, the adoption rate varies depending on factors such as hotel size, location, and target market. The study identified perceived benefits such as improved guest experience, increased operational efficiency, and enhanced safety and hygiene. However, challenges related to cost, technical expertise, and potential privacy concerns were also highlighted.
The study concluded that contactless services have the potential to revolutionize the hospitality industry in Bulacan by providing a more convenient, efficient, and safe experience for guests. However, successful adoption requires careful consideration of the factors influencing hotel operators’ willingness to embrace these technologies.
